Situated beside the Atlantic Ocean, the historical city of Coruña has well-preserved sites that are unique to the old peninsula on which the old city stands. Starting with the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Tower of Hercules, where you’ll get the chance to climb to the top of this first century monument; you’ll then make your way to the San Anton Castle with a guided tour of the 16th century fortress’ interior, which houses an archeological museum. Finally, you’ll head to the city center, where your guide shows you all hidden gems and city highlights, ending the tour with a visit to the Plaza Maria Pita. All destinations are reached via private car transportation. 

Points of Interest:
Tower of Hercules: One of the oldest active Roman lighthouses in the world. It is located between the cove of Orzan and the gulf of Artabro, and dates back to the time of the Roman leader Trajan.

San Anton Castle: A 16th century fortress with exhibits featuring antique weaponry and many other archeological artifacts. 

Plaza Maria Pita: This iconic square in the city separates the old town from the main shopping/pedestrian street on the other end. It is the city’s main plaza and takes its name from the town heroine, Maria Pita.
